Wildlife and wellness tourism

Beyond the Beach — where nature meets wellbeing

Addu will become the destination "Beyond the Beach" — where nature meets wellbeing. By combining world-class wildlife experiences with health, wellness, and active lifestyles, Addu will create a distinctive year-round visitor economy. Visitors will encounter manta rays, whale sharks, dolphins, turtles, White Terns, and spectacular coral reefs through world-class diving and immersive nature experiences, while wellness retreats, healthy local cuisine, outdoor recreation, and specialist healthcare at Addu Equatorial Hospital make Addu a destination for restoration, recovery, and rejuvenation. Supported by boutique eco-lodges and sustainable accommodation, Addu will offer an authentic Maldivian experience.
